Work early this morning means I'll watch the first two games on tape delay. I'm looking for South Africa to show some gumption. And I'm curious to see whether Domenich has managed to squander every last bit of talent on his squad; look for France to set the tone for their whole world cup against a solid Urugauy squad.

Soon to be Pac-16...crazy! I'm a little bit torn. I think it's going to be good for CAL from an overall $$ stanpoint but I'm definitely nervous about competing with Texas and Oklahoma on top of USC and Oregon on a year to year basis. Unless they give us 2 automatic BCS berths, the Rose Bowl might be further off than we thought.
I never claimed to be a soccer expert which is why I a waiting for Coons to drop some knowledge on me.
